Preparing machine drafts across the review sample
On 29 October 2026, Dactelo finished the outstanding Gemini and Claude passes for its prepared review queue. This followed work to spread the first correction pass across the selected pages, rather than filling the queue with consecutive lines from a few pages.
The preparation keeps each reader’s output and merges alternatives into an editable draft. Gemini, Claude and Tesseract are reader inputs, with disagreement retained for inspection. Refusals, explanatory comments and labels such as signature or stamp must not become transcription text. Blank-looking crops remain identifiable in the process.
The result gives a reviewer something concrete to check instead of starting with an empty text box. It does not turn the draft into reference truth or establish measured time savings. Only a reading checked against the image can support the next correction step; independent evaluation still requires its own reviewed material.
